Both Clitheroe teams are at Littlemoor this Saturday.
The 1st XV welcome Widnes based side Birchfield in North Lancs 2, whilst the 2's entertain Blackpool in Raging Bull 5N.
Clitheroe have already played Birchfield in the cup this season. A 3-0 reverse for the town team in a tight game.
While Birchfield have prospered since to lie 3rd in the table, clitheroe on the othr hand have taken some time to get going, some very near misses and a draw, leaving that first win tantalisingly close.
Kick off is at 3pm
Our referee is Mr. Donald Lewis from the Manchester Soc; who has visited Littlemoor already this season. I note that Mr Burrows is coming over rom Colne to cast his beady eye on proceedings - best order a fresh barrel of Hen Harrier'!
The 2's play Blackpool on the top pitch, and rumour hasit that Captain Bob is dusting his boots off for the first time this season.
Blackpool are mid table but making an upward surge, so second place Clitheroe will have to have all hands to the pumps/on deck for this toughie.
Ouir referee is the very welcome Mr Richard Beveridge from the MADREFS.
A warm welcome to one and all to Littlemoor this weekend. ["Tatts bar" open as usual!!]
