Clitheroe RUFC entered Clitheroe's Diamond Jubilee Torchlight procession for the very first time on Saturday.
Braving the lashing rain we were one amongst another 65 floats that weaved their merry way around the streets of Clitheroe.
The massed choir entertained the crowd with many versions of 'Swing low' and 'the Wild Rover', all the time keeping vocal chords well lubricated.
A massive thanks to Nathan Peel and his gang who organised everything, plus thanks to H&S extraodanaire Bobby Wilkinson, not forgetting our Fat Controller behind the wheel Kieron Keough and to Hargreaves Transport Services for the loan of the truck and trailer.
