Another tremendous turn out at Littlemoor; in spite of holiday commitments a good 24 hardy players took to the two pitches, playing some skillful (at times), high tempo (occasionally), committed (always) touch rugby.
After a round robin set of fixtures the teams played off for the final standings.
Team yellow excellently marshaled by wide boy Watson came top of the leader board (I think) - they had the bulk of Jim and Murray to make the hard yards [in touch?], plus the dashing pretty boy looks of Bolts and Sammy to wow the onlookers.
Team Red, an unruly mob, with Smee at the helm along with Dazzler and Coaches Favourite Wadddy were runners up.
In the relegation battle team Blue prevailed, again a team blessed with plenty of timber with Ben, Ross and Jonsey to the fore backed up by Bickie and Smudge.
Relegated to the non league ranks were appropriately the 'team with no bibs'. Dispite taking a shock lead with Jords slicing through, and with George North/Chris Ashton lurking dangerously on the wing you felt that anything could happen.....or not. Hampered by an injury to key playmaker Jacko and grievously let down by Tubber and Holmes, there was no coming back.
