The 1sts face a stiff examination this weekend when they travel to Thornton Cleveleys. The hosts lie in 4th place just a few points below Clitheroe.
Matches against Thornton, going back to North Lancs 2 days, have always been tough, full on affairs, and there always seems to be a gale blowing down or across the pitch! Though the playing surface is always superb and the apres match always good.
The 2nds meanwhile have been left with no game as Pendle 2's have conceeded. This means we get the points and Pendle relinquish home advantage in the return game, to play at Littlemoor.
