This Saturday we welcome both Hawcoat Park and Carnforth to play our 1st XV and Cavaliers respectivly.
Hawcoat Park, formerly known as Vickers RFC from Barrow-in-Furness, are paying their first ever visit to Littlemoor. The Cumbrians travel on the back of a good home win over Colne & Nelson 33-7, but suffered a somewhat surprising 41-0 reverse at Windermere the week before.
Carnforth 2nds are regular visitors to the Ribble Valley, and are on good form in the league in 3rd position, with recent good wins over Furness 34-7 and PGH 29-5.
Our scheduled referees are Mr. Tim White, (Unfortunately has had to cry off), for the Cavaliers. Late change, the respected Mr Bob Clayfield has stepped in at the last minute to take on this match, having expected Bob last week we are now able to welcome him to the club again. ***Another late change - according to the Refs Website we now welcome regular vistor Dave Burrows to take charge of the 2nd XV fixture****
For the 1st XV match we have, another first for Clitheroe, Mr. Ian Seaton on exchange from the Devon Referee Society.
Phil will be rustling up some cream teas to make him especially welcome.
