This weekend we have both teams in action at home.
The 1st XV host Blackpool at Littlemoor.
After a vastly dissapointing deafeat last Saturday, a victory is a 'must' over a team they beat in October. Where they made it rather harder work than necessary for 7-18 score line.
Blackpool lie second from the foot of the table but the senior XV need to 'crank it up' right from the off to avoid an upset.
Our referee is Mr. Paul Houston from the Manchester Soc.
The Cavaliars, also at home, face Garstang - a team they beat 17-3 before Christmas, which was also played at Clitheroe. As the visitors had problems securing a pitch, they had to conceed their home advantage.
Garstang lie in 10th place in the table, while Clitheroe have slipped from top to 4th, as other teams overtook them, when they had no fixture last Saturday. So, again, all to play for to regain some league places.
Our referee is Mr.Damian Hamilton again from the MDRS.
A warm welcome to both Gentlemen to Littlemoor!
