Two good wins in the bag for the Maroons yesterday.
The 1st XV at Aldwinians came from behind to level it at 15 all, the forced a penalty in the last 5 minutes. Martin Lafranceschina kept a cool head to convert the kick from wide out on the left to secure the points - 15-18. Two injuries took some of the gloss off with Rick Slinger departing with a shoulder dislocation and Kino suffering from a cheek bone problem.
The Cavaliers under the leadership of Pundy Procter, followed up from last weeks encouraging display with a fine win over Leigh 29-12.
Well done to all.
