Both senior teams had close wins over local opposition yesterday.
The 1sts defeated Pendle 24-26 in an incident [they always are!] filled see-saw game.
Pendle were very unlucky with injuries, loosing their main play-maker stand off and their tight head prop. We hope the lads are not too bad and are back on the paddock soon.
A last minute try brought the sides level and a cool conversion sealed the win.
Meanwhile over at Burnley Bobs 2's were in an even closer contest scraping in 7-8 to the good.
Well done to all who turned out for the Maroon and Golds on the weekend.
Match reports etc to follow......
