Two tough games for the lads in maroon and gold this weekend;
the 1st XV have their penultimate game of the season at Ashton under Lyne, whilst the 2's wrap up their season at Littlemoor against BAE Warton.
It seems a long time since September when the 1sts actually beat Ashton at a very wet Littlemoor [13-11] on the opening day of the campaign.
Since then both teams have struggled and will probably put this season down to experience or 'rebuilding' as it is sometimes known.
Ashton, however are a force to be reckoned with on their own patch and after the Easter break it will be far from an end of season jolly for the lads.
Though after some marked improvement in form of late, Clitheroe can travel with confidence of competing well.
The 2's welcome Warton to Littlemoor in their final game of the season.
Warton are well placed in the league and have a very strong squad and perhaps the RFU league beckons were they can test themselves properly.
Kick off is at 3pm and our esteemed MADS Referee is Mr. Michael Hull.
Tatts bar open.....as ever
