The 1sts came away empty handed in a Lancashire Plate tie at Newton le Willows, going down 31-16. Lack of a substitutes bench did not help in a keenly fought encounter.
The 2's went down 0-40 to Thornton Cleveleys at a wet and windy Littlemoor. Can't fault the effort again, but loosing players to the 1st XV hampered the squad.
But the brighter news was the excellent victory for the U15's over Colne & Nelson on Sunday, a great team performance in showing the seniors how to do it!! Well done lads.
