The 2nd XV had a fine win over near neighbours Colne & Nelson running in an exceptional 11 tries; including a hat-trick for Martin Lafranceschina & a brace for both Alex Woodward & Dan Smudge Smith. 10 conversions from dead eye Mitch Jones as well.
The 1sts had to claw back from a 10-0 half time deficit to draw 15 all at Ormskirk. Tries from Chris Stewart & Taffy Haynes and a nerveless pressure penalty from Joe Hopkins was a fair result in the end.
This leaves the 2's still unbeaten and a 100% win record for games at Littlemoor.
No pressure then.!
Match reports to follow..........
PS: I think the Japan rugby team had a good win also....
