Well deserved award for Phil
Phil gets his Lancashire Volunteer Award Tie from the President of Lancashire RU

At a recent Lancashire Volunteer Award Evening, our very own Phil Isherwood was recognised for his years of dedicated service to the club.
Well done Phil!
Pictured is Phil receiving his award from Lancashire President Tommy Hughes, and also how we usually recognise Phil in more comfortable attire!

Nominated by Clitheroe
Phil Isherwood has only recently stepped down after many years as Club Secretary.
Over the past 25 years, as a key member of the club, he has also been a dedicated player and groundsman. He has been one of those “always there to help” people at the club and has been relied upon to get things done.
The pitch has improved no end following his efforts, without which we would have had many more cancelled games and nowhere to play and train for both junior and senior players.
Even though he is now not an active committee member and despite a recent health scare, Phil is continuing to help out with pitch maintenance and other administrative work, such is his desire to continue to be a part of Clitheroe Rugby Club.
