Now that rugby is over for another season and the sun is trying it's best to shine through the murky summer clouds, you'll no doubt have a little time to spare to help out your beloved Clitheroe Rugby Club.
We are planning plenty over the summer period, namely watching the Lions on a Saturday morning throughout June and into July, with refreshments of course, with games usually kicking off at 10:30 or 11:00. Then, on the majority of those Saturdays we're planning to do something a little sporty but we don't quite know what this is yet. On June 15th we'll be sprucing up the club on Rugbyforce day and need all the spare hands we can get. Thereafter, there'll be some touch rugby sessions culminating in a action-packed Family Fun Day, incorporating a grand old touch rugby competition on Sunday 14th July. Wow I hear you cry!!
The only thing is......although we want to lay all of this on for you, as dedicated (or once dedicated) followers of the club and for potential new playing and social members, there is much to do to plan it all and make sure we put on a good show for everyone. With this in mind, please can you spare some time to help us plan things? If you can then please email Bob Wilkinson or call/text him using the details below. We are meeting this coming Monday at the club at 7pm to get into the detail and would love you to make time to be there or at least commit to getting involved in whatever way you can. Just say the word! A simple "Yes" will do for starters and we know you're interested.
